I have noticed that quite a bit of ground at this place has build up of both grass clippings and leaf dropage along with some dirt or sand that has been brought in at some point.
Unless this place got detected back in the 70s or 80s, then there has to be something good out there to be found. It's the amount of bottle caps that have been discarded that are the biggest challenge in the trash year areas.

The yard of our home in Murray had quite a bit of lawn cutting and leaf build up in just the 22 years we were there. Where the lawn met the patio was level when we moved in. I assume the previous owner was bagging their trimmings. When we moved, it was 3" above the edge of the concrete as I didn't bag lawn trimmings, just the leaves. An inch every seven years. it adds up over time.
Of course there are areas that don't get as much buildup and very old items can be found quite shallow. Still, you have a challenge with the bottle caps and getting down to retrieve them.

I bet the scattered tin and nails of lonesome arch, lone tree and others is sounding pretty good right now!
I'm sure you'll figure something out as you know the drill.
Speaking of, time for me to get out and mow my lawn. We've been having rain, Hallelujah, and that green stuff is going crazy.
Best of luck.
