because the city is digging in the alley to the sewer line and the plumbing company have been trenching a new sewer line from my house to the city sewer. A lot of beautiful-looking easy-to-dig sandy soil, and now I just need to try and spread it out and detect it before they fill the trench back in. Crossing my fingers they have brought up some hunt-worthy dirt from below the bottle cap level.
The more built-up areas here at my place are from the large oak and pecan tree due to leaf droppage. The former owner, for 24+ years, didn't bag grass clippings or leaves. I'll give these areas a test this afternoon and see if there's any excitement from their digging. Anything would be more exciting than the bill I'll be getting or about 6K.
