... can assist with removing all of the bottle caps from what you perceive to be the best areas.
As soon as the house fixing is done I plan on having my grandson and granddaughter hunt the 'busier' areas. Clean it out and reap the reward Grandpa has for you.

Turn down the sensitivity of your favorite detector / small coil and see if you can remove 10 or 15 bottle caps in 30 min.
10 or 15 in 30 minutes? The worst Bottle Cap areas have produced more like 30 Bottle Caps in 10-to-15 minutes! All my 'favorite' detectors sport a small or a mid-size coil so I'm not tackling that trash with a big-size coil.

If they are relatively shallow, electronic pinpointing than removal with a screwdriver should be very quick. Clear out that shallow stuff than increase the sensitivity and take out the rest. It takes time - but accurate pinpointing makes quick work. A helper can get up and down quickly.
Those blasted Bottle Caps range from eye-ball distance down to 3" for the majority. I put in ample 'go-slow' hunting time and always have. Slower and slower this past few years and especially now. My time is devoted to working slowly and methodically, and as soon as I pluck more of the modern high-conductive stuff out I'll go back after the rest. Once I finish the remodeling I plan to do some small-group seminars here at my place, and to conclude the day folks can hunt wherever they want on the property. Who knows, they might just get lucky before I do. They can also help clean out the discarded debris as well.
