... the N/M Multi-Kruzer is like the Anfibio Multi and Simplex +, or going back to the Impact, Racer 2 and Racer, and the FORS Relic and CoRe. ALL of them, using their smallest coil or even the 5X9½ DD mid-size coil, and working in 3-Tone are especially quick and work well. The same goes for using a Teknetics T2 or Fisher F75. Personally, I like to hit the Tot-Lots with a smaller coil in 2-Tone with those units.

However, for almost 25 years a good single-tone Tesoro has been my favorite Tot-Lot tool, and it still is. A 6" Concentric coil to let me work in close around the metal play structures, but a light-weight set-up with a very quick-response and fast-recovery and .... Simple!

One of the reasons a favored Tesoro always travels with me regardless of which other detectors I am bringing along.
