I have a Raptor, even thought about bringing it to WTHO last month to sell it. It's great under perfect conditions of manicured/maintained/watered sod such as many sports fields and some parks. It does not do well in even moderately hard ground and is virtually useless in rocky soil. A pointed tool is the way to go in those (more common?) conditions. I like Predator tools as well since they go the extra distance in adding the niceties, such as rivets in vulnerable places of their sewn scabbard/sheath -- a feature their biggest competitor's similar product does not include.
