Another report from a newcomer to modern TID and Tone ID bought a new Apex and Ripper coil. Had a whole month of hunting and was doing well with Ripper in city sites and Viper working beaches.

Then winter cold, rain, wind and snow brought and end to the excitement. Fortunately she enjoys reading so now I need to get her encouraged to do some winter research. Good for all of us to do anyway.

She really likes the Apex over those earlier, heavier, faster-motion units from when she first tried detecting.
