Congrats on a successful hunt!

A tip-of-the-hat here three times. One for the Tesoro Mojave's ability to do what we all trust it to be able to do. One for the time and effort to locate and research up a good potential site to hunt. And naturally one for your determination to get up and head out during these closing days (I hope) of wintry weather.

It is still too white around here to be able to get out, even with the very frequent and sometimes heavy rains we have had during the past week or so. Not counting the snow piles from clearing the sidewalk and driveway, I still have over 12", and nearly 18"-20", of snow just waiting to go away. I have had to make 150 mile round trips to get over to snow-free areas, and even then the ground has been frozen in many locations from our nightly drops in temp, or pretty soggy on a warmer afternoon (if you can call 46° to 51° 'warmer').

I'm looking to get out with my Mojave on Tuesday afternoon, and just hope the old-use site I plan to hunt is snow-free. It's over in the general direction I have been going. Unfortunately for us around here the current NOAA forecast says a cold front is coming in and we might get more snow from Wednesday thru at least next Sunday. sad smiley I'm planning a week of detecting vacation and hope to hit the road by the 28th, heading south into warmer and drier conditions. I know my Mojave, Impact and trusty 'Primary-Use' models will enjoy making me happy ... as well as the warmth.

Best of success on your next trip afield. I am sure you Inn location might still hold a keeper or two for you.
