Joel, I can guarantee you the Impact is not a slouch.

Matter-of-fact, I haven't found any of the Makro Racer series or Nokta FORS series to be slouches, either, and they generally excel in the market, with competitor's offerings at their price-point or even hundreds of dollars more.

I'm pretty sure they have completed their updates and I have one more detecting jaunt over to Idaho on Saturday, then I'll get my Nokta Impact Evaluation completed and posted on Forums. Definitely a detector manufacturer who does their best to stay in touch with consumers, and put a lot of effort into all their detector designs to have a finished and evaluated product before it is released to consumers. Top-end outfit, to be sure!

Monte

PS: I will be wrapping up my Impact evaluation and start my write-up, and I am also evaluating my Tesoro Mojave and should have that product write-up as well. Both of them by the middle of next week at the latest.
