for participating this year.

In 2018 we'll be doing things a little different from this year and I really hope to get a lot more people registered and join in the fun of participating throughout the year.

By the way, I have had a rough year this year as well and won't reach my goal, either. That happens. And there were times when I lived over in the 'rain belt' of the Willamette Valley, in and around the Portland metro area, when I just didn't have the opportunity to get out as often as I wanted, or my ambition to do so was 'dampened' .. a lot .. buy the all too frequent wet weather that hangs around over there a long time, and often.

'Thank You' for your e-mail as well and everyone who contributed the best they could as regularly as possible, and that include you. will be getting an end-of-the-year Participation Gift of 5 US coins in the mail before the end of December. I figure most of the folks live in areas where they are likely to report in by mid-December due to winter ending their hunting season.

Unless I take a 7-10 day detecting trip south towards AZ in the next month, I think my detecting will be coming to an end within a week or two also.
