You suggested: "Gregg, Time to break out that old and trusty Whites M6 of yours and let it find you some silver of your own."

60% of my silver coins this year have been found using my White's XLT w/6½" Concentric coil, and 10% with my White's MX-7 6½" Concentric coil. So that's a 70% silver production using a White's. Looking at percentages rather than simply numbers sounds impressive, and even comparing search coil types gets interesting.

In 2016 and 2017, while I wasn't able to get out as much as I wanted, and I had both types of coils in use on detectors from several manufacturers, 100% of my silver coins found in '16 and 100% of my silvers in '17 were found using a Double-D coil on a Nokta or Makro detector.

So far, hoping to still get out if I have a chance before winter, 90% of my 2018 silver coins were found using a Concentric coil on Nokta, Makro, Teknetics and White's models.

Conclusion, as you well know, it isn't always the detector make or model, or the search coil type that is being used as much as it is LOCATION searched.
