Not quite 1800s

but my oldest coin to date with the Relic. I found a 1911 construction site yesterday and got to use my Relic a bit more. Lots of old cans as well as rusty tin flakes, so lots of noise. I was using a 5.5 x 10 concentric coil, 3 tone, sensitivity 90. I got a good sounding repeatable signal and a high but not a steady VDI. I had dug several nails but I took a chance and was surprised when a V nickel fell out of the plug. It did not ring "nickel" until it was out of the plug. Although dark, it is in very nice condition.

I also found several "Headlight" buttons and a smaller blue and white metal button that appears to be porcelain coated.
