Your adventures at 'Switchback' and 'Rippville' were productive.

You had made some worthy finds at Switchback on three of four visits before our friends showed up, and while we (all except UtahRish) were skunked on good keepers, the scenery was nice, we got to do some visiting, and we all got to learn more about how our detecting gear tackles some really challenging environments. Those of you who are able to get up and down and move about well also had the pleasure of taking on some hillsides, gullies, and navigating the tangling brush and weeds and steep climbs you took on in Switchback.

To wrap their visit up, I wasn't able to make it to 'Rippville' due to a medical appointment over in Idaho, and now I wonder what I might have found??? All three of you made that day's adventure rewarding by finding nice old trade tokens, old coins, or a mix of them, making a great day for all of you..

No, I'm not upset with you for finding that nice-condition Vale trade-toke. It, like most of the other good finds all of you made, came from areas that we know have been detected in and near in the past, just this time someone nudged the coil over a little more and got it over a keeper to make the recovery.thumbs up

Congrats to all three of you! And a "Thank You" to Binker & Molly for being alert pooches and seeing Rich was sort of 'handicapped' with that Malaysian-made detector so they hung around to bring him good luck. winking smiley

For doing their part that day, did they get treated to Prime Rib Dinner as well?

Monte

PS: I have a hard-to-find and broken search coil I might sell you for a ¢ 5 ¢ marked token from here where I live.
