I love hunting any old site I can, be it a farm or pasture land, old town site or homestead, encampment, resort or dancehall site, and I never want to ignore a good renovation /repair project, either. Way to go on your Seated Liberty recoveries.

Your post did leave me with a few questions, however.:

► Who was "we"? You plus one other of were there a few people working the site?

► Did anyone else make any good recoveries there?

► What White's model were you using?

► What search coil and settings were used?

► I knew you had a Makro Racer and an Equinox 800, but now I'm curious just which detectors do you own? Sounds like you're establishing your own detector outfit, and that tells us you're definitely hooked on enjoying this great sport.thumbs up

Let's hope you can rework that site as there just might be another keeper or two lurking around there. I know of at least a couple of great people you have to share some hunt time with, and that can add to the fun when others are around when choice finds are unearthed. It can always help to inspire others to keep hunting and enjoying the fun and excitement.

Best of luck on your next walk-about with detector in-hand.
