It's always fun to get the 'OK' to hunt some older property, and even better when you make a desirable find. thumbs up Good to hear you made it out before unwelcome weather arrived in your area, too. And as always I appreciate you sharing the detector and coil used as well as settings. I had hoped to get out a couple of times this week but had family matters to attend to and a medical appointment got in the way. Then the storm front passed through to ruin Saturday.sad smiley

I might get access to a farm/ranch property this week and can only hope to share your level of success. Let's hope some of the fall storms ease up and we get an extension of huntable weather. Next to the 7" Concentric coil my other favorite mid-sized coil is that open-frame 5X9½ DD you used. Mate that up with a 2-Tone audio in open areas or modest iron trash such as nails and I'm sure you had a great audio response for that Barber Quarter. It's been quite a while since I've uncovered one of those. Congrats.
