Yeah, that's how I do it with the ORX to Joel---pinpoint off the toe of the coil almost all the time.------Those times I do try to use the pinpoint feature---you can about have a cup of coffee waiting for it to come up.----Like you said--if you "double trigger" to narrow it down--it takes even longer.----I think the manual said three seconds (initially)--seems like it takes longer that.------

Del I agree on the pinpoint on the ORX. They should have never tied the 2 buttons together like they did. Since the first day I started using the deus I thought the pinpointing was trash. Never liked it. They will pinpoint with the whole length of the center strip of the coil. Same with the ORX. You can keep narrowing it down by pressing the pinpoint again. Takes even more time. I have never really used the pinpoint function from day one. I always use the pull back method. Its way faster and more accurate. Find your target keep moving the coil backwards swinging side to side until target disappears and dig a couple inches behind the tip of the coil and target will be dead center of your hole. Works perfect even with the big 11x13 coils. I highly recommend the pull back method for anyone that hunts high trash areas will save a lot of time. ORX/Deus prob the easiest machine to use the pull back method with. Gary I believe has a vid of how to do it. Im sure your familiar with it. But ya I always thought Xp would do a update of the ORX and pinpoint. Guess not enough people complained about it.
