It was Whites M6 years ago. (PS.: as I read the only remaining from Whites is my nick)
Exceptional machine, wish to never apart with, but was to heavy for my soreness antecubital.

After serious tests all possible brand and models I turn back and stay with reliable and invincible
analog devices Fisher CZ3d and Tesoro Euro Sabre II (in France sold under name "Invincible").

First off I saw in another post that you want to change your "nick" or screen name since Whites have bit the dust. And you want it to start with an "F".
So I'll give you my few suggestions. Given the current model you swing you could be " FCZ" or better yet one that more closely reflects who you are and we could go with "F3d" Full of wisdom and multi-dimensional smiling smiley

Anyhow, I see you like the CZ3d. In the literature describing the machine Patented Dual-Frequency Fourier Domain Signal Analysis with Multi-Frequency Infinite Spectrum Technology: Sends Out a Huge Spectrum of Signals that Induce Magnetic Fields into Metal Objects at Different Frequencies. It goes on to say: The CZ-3D is Fisher's Newest Multi-Frequency metal detector that all other detectors will be measured against.

I wonder if I can talk Monte into getting one to put through all the tests. Sounds like quite a machine.

But the most glaring question of all is why the CZ3d?

The Whites M6 with stock coil weighs 4lbs ( 1.9 kgs ) even at 4lbs it is a well-balanced machine with the eclipse 5.3 or 9" spider coil having the battery box under the arm cuff etc. Even the MXT's balanced very well.

The Cz3d with 8" coil weighs 5.6 lbs (2.5 kgs) and that is with just a plastic arm cup and nothing under the arm cup ( batteries etc)

I have found that machines that have all the weight from the control housing forward do not seem to balance well and can easily become "nose-heavy" I haven't held a CZ3d so I can't say for sure. I can only look at a picture and guess.

But my question is how is a well balanced 4 lb M6 to heavy, yet you swing the 5.6 lb CZ3d ??

just curious as that caught my eye in your last post.

Quick update: before posting I decided to check a few other sites to try and verify my statement about weight and I ran into some discrepancy.

Kellyco has the weight at 5.6 lbs
Amazon is at 4lbs
A few other sites state 1.5 lbs rod system and 2.2lbs housing for 3.7lbs total ( but does this include the coil? )

Anyhow lets for sake of argument say they each weigh 4lbs. I would still think that the M6 would balance better. It's not always about weight alone. Balance is a large part of the equation.
