Broke from Tradition Yesterday.

August 24, 2020 11:07AM avatar
Loaded the dogs and headed over to Idaho to an old mining ghost town site. This whole year, up until yesterday, I have only used the Fors CoRe and oor coil and that has been it.

Yesterday I broke from Tradition and used the Racer 2 with oor coil. Its getting harder to hear the mid tones on my Core when in dense iron as it has no iron audio volume. So I decided to switch things around a bit and used my Racer 2 that does provide iron audio volume.

Anyhow, hearing the mid tones became easier.

Unlike Zincoln and Ninja, no great token finds , nor did the large silver or gold coins come flying outta the ground at me smiling smiley Still it was a fun day, got outta the house, seen some neat country over in Idaho and made a couple of finds......stuff you would call "fun finds"

One is kinda a skelton key, don't know if it was for a lock, or a clock or ?? The other I thought was a button at first but it isn't so don't know what it would have been. Its a boy on a horse jumping over a fence, framed by a horse shoe. It is a bit bigger than a quarter.
The 3rd find was an eyeball find, one of the larger clay marbles I have found.

I will see Zincoln in a few weeks, as he is coming over this way. Might have to haul him over to Bob Steak & Sprits for a night. Will give him lots of Sprits and see if I can pry outta him the secrets to finding those large silvers and some gold. smileys with diet Dr. Pepper float

I think Gregg can select the pitch tone with the Racer 2.
