Had a couple hours to kill so my little girl and I and the dog went to the old park. We order some food from across the street and had a little picnic. Took the vanquish 540 with me and the little 5x8 coil. Turned on the machine and made about 5 sweeps across and bang a decent dime signal. Vanquish was saying 8" deep. It was prob 7". Dug it up and boom silver!! 1898S believe it is a key date or semi key. How bout that luck. 1 hr later gotta a jumpy dime signal. Vanquish was saying 6" deep it was prob 5" Boom 1908S!! I was happy and went home. Great little machine. I really love how it feels and swings with the little 5x8 coil on. I was running it max sense on the factory coin program with no changes to it. I was digging lots of deep nails. So I actually turn the iron bias to low to see if that maybe made a difference but it did not. Park is real trashy had 2 to 3 small nails in every hole that the coins were in. First dime was found with iron bias at factory settings of high. Second dime was with iron bias on low.
