I Recently had to send my Garrett AT MAX back to the factory for service. $160 later (new coil, circuit board, housing, update) I have it back and it’s never worked better. I just always thought these machines were noisy. Turns out, they aren’t when they work right! I went back to a site I’ve been hitting pretty hard. It’s a big site that’s produced lots of silver, IHP’s and a few tokens and trinkets all from the turn of the century. I went back over some areas I thought I had covered. I managed to pop a very clean 1907 V Nickel (my FIRST!!) an Art Deco 1920-1930 silver ring with a nice dendritic agate stone, Boy Scout pin, antique brass valve of sorts and of course the obligatory pile of clad. There is still so much space to detect at this location. I’ll keep going until it shuts off. Happy digging y’all!
