and learning about and appreciating the history of the PNW. Is that 1909 a VDB or an S mint....or both?

I have hunted several Western Oregon timber camps, and boy are they tough. You need an airdrop of agent orange to be able to swing a coil. So far, nothing but iron for me...but i can tell i'm not the first to find these locations from items laying on stumps or downed trees.

I have pictures of my relatives using two man draw saws, and the earliest chainsaws - what absolute beasts!

These folks were truly hard workers and so much tougher than we typically are today. Seems many immigrants also dominated these camps, making their mark and finding their dream.
