Loaded up the dogs and we headed out to Rippville today. Started off with the Vanquish 440 and it wasn't long got a signal and dug a very very rough shape V Nickel. It's soaking in the acid as I type this and I can just make out 189? Used the 440 for about 2 1/2 hrs.
I then gave the ol'Racer 2 with 7" coil a go. Only found a few doodads with it.
For the last hour of the day I got out the good ol' Fors CoRe and headed over to an area that we call "tin" hill. Its a dirty nasty site loaded with rusted tin and iron.
I did finally manage to find a keeper, but this is where I'm gonna need some of that X-Spert advice. I'm not sure if I found one of those semi-quasi its silver but it's not kinda coin or did I actually find a real silver coin. See pic #1 and let me know what you x-sperts think.............
Was fun to finally get out a bit, dogs had a blast, and was fun to find a few things. Monte was going to join me but his whole moving thing got in the way today.
