Sometimes those areas where cattle tend to gather near a ditch, a barn, a feeding area, Etc., they seem to leave a lot of 'waste' that really contaminates the ground makeup. That, combined with those big critters stomping around back and forth that can inflict physical damage on lost stuff, sure can result in an uglyfied coin, token, or other desirable that get lost in the area.
So much area out there where most coins and tokens come out looking pretty decent, but certain places can really make a difference in what we recover. Oh well, we have to take what we can get and the pickings are getting a little thin at some old sites.
I'm looking forward to trying to put some time in Saturday when we're up in the comfortable 60° range.
