Trade Tokens can sometimes do a lot of traveling.

Often we get the' Mavericks' that don't share a name of the location they came from, and I have often encountered some locations where you never find another token except local offerings from only that town. Then there are the 'travelers' that seem to get carried around and lost at all sorts of places, and 'Rippvile' is one of those 'dumping-points' where we have found quite a variety of tokens from all sorts of towns!

I can recall some from: Jordan Valley, OR, Juntura OR, New Plymouth ID, Nyssa OR, Ontario OR, Sumpter OR, Vale OR, Westfall OR, and other places, but my binder is packed up in storage for my move. I am sure OregonGregg can check his binders for tokens he's found in 'Rippville' that aren't mavericks and enhance this list. Quite a variety from one ranching & farming townsite, and that's the other interesting thing to me. They did have a stage that went through there, but never a train station, and it wasn't a big, bustling town. I used to find bigger varieties of Trade Tokens in the more traveled, high-use RR towns, but not is the type of locations that 'Rippville' was..

On yesterday's outing Gregg managed to pluck both a Maverick and a location-named token and that added to the adventure of detecting old sites. You start to wonder where those 'mavericks' came from? Were they a local establishment or did they wander in from elsewhere in someone's pocket only to be discarded there?

Yes, it does add to the fun of this great outdoor sport.

Now I'll watch for Gregg's response when he adds several token locations to this list.
