6 1/4 cents

November 07, 2021 11:07AM avatar
A buddy shared a site with me this week that has produced a few older coins for him. It was a little alleyway where some turn of the century homes were taken out.

The spot has been POUNDED by others but I had an hour to kill so why not?

There was an area that seemed to be dug less in the rear of the lot and I managed to find a few corroded zincs. After working it slow, I hit a tone that sounded right and popped this token.

I was using the Equinox 800, small coil, field 2, sensitivity 20, in multi frequency.
