Sounds like you are about in the same boat I am Mike.----We got a Legend to try out & I was having such good success with it that Patsy wanted to try it.----She made some really good finds with it & REALLY liked that detector----soooo----she went ahead & took it away from me!grinning smiley-----I didn't dare make eye contact with her asking if I could use "her" detectorwinking smiley----sooo----I ordered a second Legend so we would both have one.-----We found a deal where we could trade our two E800s in on two Legend Pro Packs & surely haven't regretted it at this point.-----So far, we have just been using Park M1 & I jacked the fourth tone frequency up to 30.----Been grilling the manual over & over learning the various settings (my bedtime reading).smiling smiley----Sure glad Nokta provided an ACTUAL printed manual with the detector--(unlike Minelab has been doing)----Anyway, boy does that thing ever pull the non ferrous targets out of the iron & junk!-----Worst thing I can say about it so far is the fact that I don't like the all black keyboard (gonna fix that) & don't like the off centered coil ears on the 6" coil----the 11" stock coil is fine.----------Del-----
Well....the Legend is Lisa's machine and every time I look like I'm gonna touch it my life flahes before my eyes. Guess she's still sore about me threatening her beloved Racer 2 last yearthinking.

It gets worse, she didn't know i was talking to kickindirt about getting her one and bought elsewhere. So, I'm afraid of making eye contact with him too...

Seriously though, the legend seems extraordinarily well built and capable of noodling around in the Iron. It hits hard on the coins.

She's still getting her head around the settings and modes. The Ferro-check meter thingy is pretty cool and so far looks like it will give an accurate response to mixed targets.

Her only negative comment so far is the buttons are small and close together making them a little hard to manipulate wearing gloves and accidentally changing settings.

She's opted for 6 tones and has custom set the audio for different target ranges. Only used park mode so far with factory recovery speed. (I've found bumping speed up on my Nox does a little better in the trash).

We'll be interested in settings others find helpful for old site hunting.
