Both for getting out hunting, and to Lisa for making one of the more memorable recoveries we can enjoy these days. Sure don't surface as often as we would like K e them to.
Her nice Morgan reminds me of my **'04 Day** in June of 2000, small north-central Oregon town where they dug up the highway and sidewalks, building across to building. It was a fast-moving project and I didn't find out about it until late Thursday afternoon.
I arrived early Friday morning and started in where they had pushed up some of the old roadway and part of the park the day before. I found a lot of Wheat-backs and several Indian Heads, Buffalo's and 'V's, but my first coin for the day was my 1904 Morgan Dollar. My last coin before a lunch break, and my last coin for the day were also 1904's. An Indian Head Cent and a Barber Dime.
It's good to know she's enjoying her Legend, getting out hunting, and can now share the thrill of making one of our 'big-coin' recoveries.
Again. Congrats to both of you.
