Thanks for the heads up Monte! Lisa belongs to some of the detecting Facebook groups and she posted her silver dollar find there. I also gave her props for it on findmall. It's funny the guys you encountered knew about it but that's also a thing I appreciate about the hobby, the opportunity to share experiences and congratulations with others.
Along those lines, she asked me to pass on her thanks to everyone here for the nice comments and to say how much she's looking forward to meeting new friends at the WTHO.
On to your final question, I haven't really had the chance to try the Legend. Lisa assures me I won't be getting my hands on hers anytime soon lest I enjoy swinging my Minelab in a cast

I figure I have a better chance of learning the secret location of OregonGregg's Racer Vault.
Seriously, I've been extremely happy with the Equinox 800 and this will be a summer of comparison for us between the 2 machines. Given the cash we've dropped on detectors this past year, we'll likely stay status-quo. I'll say this though, the Legend seems to be the real deal, well built, stable, hard hitting on coins, and deadly accurate on the Ferro-check.
