And other models that ought to work but are often grouped with urban Coin Hunting tasks. But I am very interested in how the newer models, like the Equinox 800, Legend and Deus II are going to work for those who have them. While the Equinox has been around a few years, the other two were new entries to directly compete with it or to supposedly bump it from the top of the ladder. Initially there was a lot of talk and forum activity with a lot of bold claims or brash statements, but in recent weeks things seem to have calmed down a lot, and other people have remarked that the top-dollar Deus II hasn't been as impressive as they heard or thought.
So it will be interesting to see them in action and get some direct and honest comments from our attending users who can share their experiences with these newer detectors. Most active folks know there is no such thing as a 'perfect' detector, and those who make these outings also know the coins and tokens and keepers don't just jump out of the ground for us. It takes work, time and effort, and working our units slowly and methodically to try and unmask the keepers that are hidden there.
The WTHO is getting very close now and I wish everyone the best of success on their efforts at the old sites we will be hunting.
