Maybe some of us here are using different meanings for 'brash'. Here's one from the internet (2nd listed, so maybe not to most common):

strong, energetic, or irreverent.

I certainly didn't mean you are rude, but rather sometimes contentious in a playful way, touting your choice of detectors. I agree with others that this site is about fun, whether detecting, posting, sharing time at the WTHO,...

Add my name to the list of those who like to see posts (especially photos) of finds. I don't feel anything but encouragement and motivation when I see what others have accomplished. It's occasionally my turn and in the meantime I like to share in others' joy.
