The US Indian Head Cent was minted from 1859 thru 1909. Pennies had a lot more buying power way back then so were frequently carried ....and lost. I think they were one of our best-looking coins and I enjoy finding them.

But as we start our 14th WTHO, I have a 'guess' that by the end of the Outing, we will find more Silver coins, minted in the same era of 1859 thru 1909 than we will Indian Heads. Thus ALL Indian Heads count but ONLY Silver coins from the same period of time.

All sorts of things we might guess about, but there is my main one for this Outing.
