As of early Friday my two 'guesses' below are not looking good. Most of the old townsites have produced at least one coin or interesting artifact, just not as much silver coin as I guessed, and no trade tokens yet.
I think the most interesting or valuable artifact so far was found by UtahMike, and the oldest silver coin, an 1851, was found by OregonGregg. He has also found the oldest non-silver US coin, an 1859.
Just a couple more days after today and we will start seeing participant's reports of the Outing, and so far, other than a bit windier day today, the weather and hunting conditions have been quite nice.
As for Monte's time, while enjoying the scenery from the motel, I have been busy trying to figure out a new and different WTHO location to start working on for our next get-together. I am always open for hints/suggestions so please share your thoughts.
