It's hard to believe that we just finished up outing # 14 and it was 7 years ago that we did #1. It was a fun trip, got to see familiar faces again as well as meet some new people. The weather for the most part was pretty good compared to a few of the earlier outings. Friday was prob the worst as the wind blew a steady 35mph all day long but at least it wasn't cold.
I got to add a few more silvers to the binder, and I get to mark off an item on the bucket list. When it was all done I found a few relics and ended up with 6 coins.
Got a 1936 Wheat from Tobar, 1924 wheat from Shafter, and a 1910 wheat from Metropolis. ( we won't count the 1961 penny from Cobre
Also got an 1859 IH and 1892 Canadian dime from Toano and also from Toano a nice little bucket lister, an 1851 3 cent silver "Trime"
Also from Toano was a nice Ohio State Seal button circa 1870-90 made by the Waterbury Button Co. from CT. Looks just like an Eagle button except has the seal on it.
As always it was another fun outing and hated to see it come to an end. Was good to see Monte again after he up and left me over a year ago and ended up doing a little horse trading with him. Had to make a little more room in the bunker...............
