After a few calls and discussions, plus the fact that Garrett acquired White's, I have dropped Tesoro Tuesday and White's Wednesday. Instead, we are going to hold Brand-Use Drawings at the Saturday Get-Together Dinner on the 10th. Again, this will be a 'random drawing' and you need not be present to win.

Now, here's all you have to do to get your name in the drawing for any particular Brand. You simply need to use any model or models, of that Brand for one day of hunting. No switching-off to a different Brand. Use ONLY that Brand and you will get your name in that drawing. Now, if you use more than one Brand/Model, you can use a Minelab most of the days, but maybe put in a full-day of hunting with an XP or a Garrett, and you will get your name in each Brand Drawing one-time, but have to hunt a day with each Brand.

Hunt multiple days with the same Brand, you still only get your name in that Brand Drawing one-time, not one for each day. The Brand categories are:

FTP: Any Bounty Hunter or Fisher or Teknetics model.

Garrett / White's: Any Garrett or White's model.

Minelab: Any Minelab model.

Nokta / Makro: Anu Nokta or Makro model.

Tesoro: Any Tesoro model.

XP: Any XP model.

Hunt with only one Brand for the entire Outing and you get you name in that jar for that Brand Drawing. Hunt with a different Brand on different days and you'll have your name in 'each' of those Brand Drawings. There are going to be Six (6) Random Drawings for each Brand listed, and the winner will receive a $50 bill! So NOW, everyone will have a chance to WIN!

Of course since I won't be making it to each townsite every day to check you all out, it will be the participant's responsibility to inform me ahead of time what Brand models they are going to use that day. Of course in some cases it will be easy. For example, I seriously doubt OregonGregg will be using anything other than a Nokta CoRe or Relic or a Makro Racer or Racer 2. I seriously don't think he's going to invest in a Minelab or XP or Fisher or Garrett or Tesoro to check them out for a full-day of hunting.

Then there's me or Monte Jr. and a few others who have more than one Brand and might choose to use a different Brand on a different day. So it is simply use a Brand for a day of hunting and you are in for that Drawing. Not trying to pick a favorite find or have any judging of how well anyone did. Just enjoy the hunt and hope you get drawn.
