Lisa and I started the day at O-Dark-Thirty to go do some fresh water beach hunting and try to escape the heat. We had a good day at the lake (which is posted on the other forum).
Afterwards, we got a wild hair and drove up to Wyoming to check on a place we have permission and have found a few silvers at. The property owner has done some work stirring the ground up and we thought we'd give it a go...
We've always wanted to find a token from this town and today was the day as we got one each. Lisa's is the older incused one and is extremely rare. I'm excited with my 12 1/2 center. The fob... we're gonna call that one a joint find... I detected the signal...sounded like a silver dollar. I'd already dug enough trash that sounded identical so I started to walk away after trying unsuccessfully to break into the concrete like dirt and rock. Lisa has a better pick and I asked her to listen and she agreed it sounded too good to be true. She cannot walk away from a target and eventually freed it.
Our usual combo, her with the Legend + 6" coil, me with the Equinox + 6" coil.
