Lisa and I have been eyeballing a spot along one of our detecting routes for years but haven't been able to determine who owns it.

By chance, we were in a gas station in this small town and I was making small talk with a gent at the pumps. When I brought up detecting, he told me he had an old place he owns that we were welcome to hunt. Danged if it wasn't the same place!

We only had time to give it a quick try but got a few wheats and a 1901 Indian Lisa bagged with her Legend/6" coil combo.

Not sure I've ever seen one come out this clean.

We'll be going back this fall to hunt this one again.
