Buddy got a nice permission hunt on an old 1700's dairy farm that was converted over to an orchard in the 50's. Hunting is a bit tricky and good finds sparse since it was a diary farm for most of the time. We have found a few wheaties, I found a 54 rosie and in the back corner of the property I had a faint signal. About 10" down I pulled this thin copper out. 22.5mm x 1.5mm. Thought it was a KG but those are usually beefier like large cents. Bit of research brought me to a 1780 farthing but tough to tell. Not many coins that particular size.
Much of middle of the property has irrigation lines and electrical system for well pumps so we have to be pretty careful digging but will still poke along, Maybe there is more.
