2 box machines and even Nexus machines would be far better for that type of hunting. Even a PI with frame coil.
Bigger trick is the research rather than lugging big equipment around and randomly wandering around with it.

Regular machines are vulnerable to iron wrap and/or just don't do deep enough as the coils are too small and too sensitive. Like running high beams in a blizzard in hopes of seeing down the road.
