Gregg that looks like an awesome place to detect!!

For one, there's hardly any sagebrush, so you have most of the ground to detect!!!

Congrats on the on that old shield nickel, the back looks great!! My friend used a bit of navel jelly to clean a semi-key buffalo and it came out nice. I've never found a shield nickel.
