Even if you have to use a Minelab '800' to accomplish that search mission. winking smiley

I was in a discussion with a fellow the other day and, overall, he wasn't very impressed with it, preferring his FBS unit instead. To me it is an interesting and creative effort to bring something new to market, and it is no different than all the other newer detectors we have seen introduced in the past decade. Just a new physical package that appeals to some more than others. Adjustment features that some like and others don't. In-the-field performance that is 'Okay' to some and just 'So-So' to others.

We all have to figure out what we want in a detector, consider the comfort and convenience factors, and see if it works for us when we need it to, and that it can provide the level of performance we would like to see from it. That's why I like my 'detector team' as I have makes and models that work for me, fit me, are comfortable for me, and I can pick-and-choose the detector and coil for the task at hand. The new Equinox just didn't seem to ring any bells for me to want to jump on board, but if it is working for you, that's what matters.

Continued success on your 'before work' detecting jaunts. See you soon in Wells, Nevada.
