Sorry you only had the one day to spend on the Outing. sad smiley

But once again you put in the time and effort which resulted in a good day afield for you. smiling bouncing smiley

When you borrowed the Makro Multi-Kruzer you probably used the 5" DD coil and hunted in the 3-Tone mode. That would be a very good combination for the dense iron debris environment we were in and works similar to a Racer 2 or Impact with the same mode choice. The 7" Concentric would also have been a nice coil choice as well and likely what I would have used at first until I got into the ugliest of areas.

Didn't I see you using something different initially before borrowing the Multi-Kruzer and Deus, a model you know well. How did the other detector work out for you? What was the detector and coil used?

I hope your son, and friend both had a good time and learned from the hunting techniques you displayed.

Congratulations on your success and I wish you could have spent more time on the Outing.
