Would love to find some 'thin' dimes Rich. Seem to be like unicorns in the Willamette Valley. All of 3 seated/barber dimes in 5 years detecting out here....but quite a few mercs and rosies from '41 forward. I dream of seeing the 'one dime' on the back when i'm digging. Jelous of the east coast guys who seem to find these with regularity.

I'm with you on that about the East Coast Guys. Sid and I did a road trip back there many years ago and I picked up a couple bucket listers for me like a large cent and a 2 Cent Piece. IHC's were older than I typically see around my local area.

I do Love seeing that ONE DIME on the back of sliver. Strangely, my first silver of the year was a Seated Dime, turned up some silver Rosies along the way, a Barber out in NV last month and another this week, yet no Merc's. ??? Typically, Merc's are my most common silver coin, but not a single one this year. I need to spend more time getting back to hunting yards of older homes I guess.

Yes, the VX3 is an 'interesting' detector.
