Curious which detector and coil combination you were using?
I made a drive from Vale4 to Baker City early today to take care of some detect6or trading business, then headed to Weiser, Idaho to help a fello2w at a site where he's had trouble. Hunted for maybe 15 minutes before heading back for home after I helped him learn the problem wasn't the detector but the metal in the finely shredded tires where he was hunting in.
An adjacent older pice of a property was inviting and we had the okay, but it was a small area and my Omega 8000 w/7"Concentric coil and I didn't find anything old. Not even a wheat-back cent.
So I came home to get a Pinpointer to go mail off the Del, then I'm off to scout for anyplace old and inviting around town to maybe hunt.
I hope you can get out more whole there's favorable weather in your chunk of the state.
Congrats on the silver and other keepers.
