I took a quick look and the only one I saw was a Silver µMAX (microMAX) in Washougal, WA for $235. An OK beginner unit, in my opinion, and for unknowing readers this model doesn't have a static All Metal Pinpoint feature. The one to watch for is the Silver Sabre µMAX which has an external Threshold control and a pushbutton Pinpoint feature.

They are more difficult to find, however, and I nabbed mine about 12-13 months ago for a whopping $150! Spotted as it was just posted on Craigslist over in Baker City where I happened to be headed the next day. Got a like new Bandido II µMAX from the same fellow for $250 at the same time.

Still, if you want a simple-to-use detector that can do OK in an old town site, the Silver µMAX might be a consideration.
