Back to you, Todd.

Wow Monte thank you for the great Nokta primer. This is awesome! When it comes to the accessory coil, you have me doubting myself. I may be wrong and it could be the 5.5"x10". I will know for certain the first of next week.smiling smiley
My pleasure. Once I get my edited and re-done detector evaluations finished and on a Product Review Forum the information will be there and I can simply direct people there.

This detector a originally belonged to a forum member who traded it in. After I receive it and get some swing time in I might take you up on that small coil.
Were there photos on a forum or ??? you could direct me to so I can see what coils they are? Trust me, once you work the 5" DD in some congested areas you will be very impressed.

I am glad to here you recommend a slower sweep speed, my body is more appreciative of that with the wear and tear on the shoulders over the years. I will keep you posted on my progress with it. I am confident it will be a much better fit for me than the AT Pro was.
I've been enjoying a slow-motion sweep technique most of the time all my life. The XLT and XL Pro did have me working at a slower-to-moderate sweep speed, but Tesoro and Classic's and most of the other detectors I have preferred along the way let me enjoy using a slower sweep.

I just got in a few minutes after you posted this from a 30 minute search of the vacant lot I have been working. Getting late and it was shady and close to sunset, and 50° with a 15 MPH wind started to get annoying. I was using the Anfibio Multi w/7" Concentric coil just to cover some areas I have already been over several times the past 3-4 weeks. Nothing good found, but every outing I try to learn something so that was good.

I am certain that if you give the Relic enough time in 30 days to match the time you would have used your AT Pro, you will know you made a very good detector decision.
