I'm finding the Anfibio Multi w/7" Concentric to be the favorite in my Outfit for General Purpose use, especially so many urban Coin Hunting applications. The 7" Concentric performs well with most trash. It's my universal 'do-all' detector so to speak I bought the 5" DD for it because there are many times I hunt trashier conditions, such as around picnic bowerys and other social gathering areas that seem to catch more tabs and bottle caps.

I like the 7" Concentric for the typical places I hunt, but sometimes a smaller coil, like the 5" DD, can provide better performance like working narrow parking strips, or in and around brush and building rubble when I hit many urban lots. Those two coils are joined by the standard round 11" DD which I really like for its light-weight design and great balance for sparse-target areas such as out in the big, grassy parks.

For average or more typical day-to-day detecting the Anfibio Multi has the bases covered quite well. If I get into the really dense trash, especially iron debris when hunting the older relic-type sites, I have my proven FORS CoRe and Relic models all set-up and ready-to-go, providing me with an excellent set of detectors to use for most any applications. The Anfibio Multi compares well with the small coil performance I had with a Racer, Racer 2, Impact, and Multi-Kruzer in tough nail contaminated sites, and surpasses them on tests with my stacks of US silver coins. But for the nastiest iron challenges, there are the CoRe and Relic models to round out my Nokta-Makro Detector arsenal to challenge anything out there.

As I have stated often, I really like(d) the Tek. T2 w/5" for some iron troubled sites, but found it too unstable for open area hunting, and ever since the CoRe got in my hands 4 years ago, I have found it, and all the following Nokta and Makro devices to out-class it, be more stable, and that included their performance on deeper located targets. I am certain, just as I had said before your Anfibio arrived, that you are going to find these products to be absolutely great performers.

Now, let's hope your storms will ease up and you can get out and have fun without having to work at it (like removing fallen trees, etc.).

Some obvious signs about manufacturing metal detectors.
