Curious about the Anfibio's waterproof design.

Just wondering because the Anfibio is a close companion, feature wise, to the Impact. A few fewer search modes, some different features, but still in the same 'family' but in the waterproof design and with the collapsible rod system. It also has the built-in LiPo battery power, but I do notice some differences in audio performance. Probably due to my hearing impairment but I found the Anfibio series to have a cleaner, crisper audio that I hear better when using the same search modes and Audio Tones.

Anyway, just curious due to the waterproof design and wondered if you get into water to need it? I don't, personally, but there are times I work lake or river beaches and with me it's easy for a detector to take an accidental dunk. But for me and my needs that's why I'm interested in adding the Simplex when it gets released since it will provide the 'simple' yet functional needs for my hunting with the waterproof capability for the few times I will do some shallow-water hunting.

I just hope they offer the 7" Concentric coil for the Simplex as it's such an ideal fit for many applications.

Let us know how the Anfibio works out for you.
