Re: Makro multi kruzer settings suggestions

I have a lot of hours on my MMK and it's been a very successful detector rehunting old "hunted out" haunts and making new finds!

I use both the 3-TONE and the 4-TONE. My search mode of choice is 4-TONE in all but the worst iron or bad EMI. The factory 11" stock coil separates above average, and the MMK packs a punch with great depth. When using 4-TONE I run my GAIN as high as I can, which is usually in the high 90's, little to no disc, bumped up the high tone, the MMK is as capable as anything out there, especially for relic type sites IMO. 3-TONE has the hyper speed easter egg, keep the GAIN at 89 or less and it's super fast recovery speed makes it killer for thick iron! Of course you loose some depth, but you also gain stability, 3-TONE is very EMI resistant and runs smooth and quite without a lot of ground noise (unlike extra the sparky 4-TONE mode!).

The MMK is my favorite detector from Nokta to date, it's wireless (works with the "green" wifeless headphones which also work with their new wireless pinpointer!!!!), great set of search modes, tools and adjustments, light weight, waterproof, the only improvements for me are mechanical - bring back the trigger switch, and the keypad on the MMK and Anfibio...are not great for those used to tapping a ground balance or pinpoint button without having to look at the detector, that's not really doable with their new membrane keypad, and in my opinion having to fumble around with non-tactile membrane keypads slows you down, which at the end of the day could equate to less recoveries.
