Ordered the Anfibio with the little 7x4 coil. Should be here for the group hunt. With all the trash talking between Gregg and I Xp vs relic and fors I prob wont use the Xp much with a new toy to play with.
Joel, I am sure you will find the Anfibio Multi a very good detector, but if you take on some dense iron contaminated challenges, Gregg might still have the round 5" DD coil for you to swap to. My money would be on the 5" DD providing better unmasking abilities than the 4X7½ DD. As I've mentioned, that elliptical coil failed on a few tests Gregg & I did with an assortment of other detectors. Mostly Nokta and Makro devices plus a few others.

That, as I explained before, was with the new Nokta Impact, and from that tough test Dilek got them busy developing a round 5" DD coil which, when finished, worked quite well and about matched the results of the FORS Relic w/5" DD. On that tough challenge using a Capped Bust Half-Dime the only model we had, using a factory stock coil, that hit 8-out-of-8 was the FORS CoRe w/'OOR' DD coil.

So if you're doing some comparisons and the 4X7½ isn't looking so good, just switch to the round 5" DD.smiling smiley

Naturally, if you're still not pleased with results, give that XP Deus a try. It will be interesting.
