I would have to agree with ya. It's hard for people to look at this machine as a entry level machine. I would have to say the build quality definitely gets a A+ from me. Really love the build. Then all the other options are just added bonuses. Wireless headphones and pulsedive to connect to the headphones make this an amazing fun to use machine. I had a chance to take mine out to an old ghost town and to my old park that dates back to late 1800s. For me out in the old ghost town the 11" coil was really bad. I tried staying to the outskirts of the heavy iron/ trash areas. I could hear the machine trying to pull the good targets in but with the 11" coil made it almost impossible to find anything. Wish they would of sold this machine with like a 8" coil or similar size. Seemed to do better in the park type setting. My only complaint in the park type setting is the machine is really sensitive to emi. This is very obvious when turning on a pinpointer cause it magnifies the EMI. Then you have the undateable part of the machine. Mine didn't have the newest updates. The whole update experience was awful. In my opinion Nokta/marko really dropped the ball here in this area. Reason being doing the update is not exactly simple to do and is kinda confusing. I hate to complain about it. All in all for the money this machine cant be beat. If I was Nokta/marko I would make sure all machines go out with all the newest updates as much as possible to keep users from having to do it. If I recommend this machine to someone it would only be with a pair of wired headphones. The machine paired to wireless headphones can be kinda glitchy. I found the Nokta/Makro waterproof headphones really pleasing to use. The audio in the waterproof phones are really smooth and clear compared to the wireless ones. Welp I ranted on way to long. No matter what it's a excellent entry level machine.

I feel ther Simplex+ really needs at least two accessory coils.
