Re: Yes absolutely Del a look from most consumers point of view

Yeah, I know what you mean Joel.---And the sad part of it is---some of these older models are pretty good performers----but are going for dead duck--and I mean DEAD DUCK prices.----As in almost having to pay someone to take them off your hands. (been there, done that).sad smiley----Do you think it's because of the rapid progression of detectors coming to market---or???------It just seems the used detector market has never been the same since Minelabs presentation & debut of the Equinox---it just did "something" to the market (IMO).----------Delquote=Kickindirt]
Why buy an older machine like the Relic, ATPRO,T2,F75 just to name a few. When I can go get a brand new waterproof with latest updatable Tech Nokta Simplex lol. When you look at it that way it defiantly hurts. Then if you add all the extra options like the wireless headphones and the pulse dive that pairs to the headphones now you really talked me out of one those older machines. Of coarse lots of us have a certain way of hunting and special needs that will keep buying the older stuff that still works very well for the dedicated hunters of certain types. For the average dude just wanting to go out swinging at the park or beach it would be dumb move to look past a simplex. Once Nokta releases other small coils the simplex will prob fill even more of that huge gap lol. Know what I mean???

pretty brutal actually for the older models.[/quote]
